I was about to choose a BaaS provider, after a quick research I found that the silver player is not materialized yet, however number of providers was more than my expectations since all what I knew was the big names only, I prepared a matrix for comparison in terms of the common features they should offer.

I’m interested to use App42, Kii or working with a big name like Parse or StackMob, whenever I use them in production I will share my experience.

Here it is!

  1. What do I have to do to convince you to use Kii? =D
What factors make user management and FB integration “excellent” for some providers (interested to learn about this).
    Nice table!

  2. Aske Anker says:

Nice comparison. Been using Parse, but looks like app42 is a lot more bang for the buck. Really like the features (and price levels). Will give that a shot!

  3. Montaro says:

    @German, Glad to hear that!
For me, I’m currently writing a native Android app, iOS on the plan also.

    Which one did you select?
My worry is these companies can shutdown
    What do you think?

  5. Neil says:

Hey, You should give Appacitive a try.
Our approach to the whole thing is slightly different.

  6. Can I simply just say what a relief to uncover a person that
truly understands what they are discussing online. You certainly know how to bring a problem to light
and make it important. More people need to read
this and understand this side of the story. I can’t
believe you aren’t more popular since you most certainly
    possess the gift.

    • Montaro says:

I really have no idea how to answer to that .. I’m really thankful for all the positive energy you’ve thrown my way..I would be very happy if it helped you and again I’m grateful for the compliment.
